We've been sewing up a storm here at
Randy's in Sun river. I've made a couple of finishes, eaten a lot of great meals (see
Lori's post) and gone for some nice walks. It's very beautiful here, there's still snow on the Cascade mountains and the air smells of pine forests. Here are my finishes:
Sorry for the brevity but I've got to get back to the sewing party.
cheers, Claire W.
I absolutely love the plaid one - the varying sizes give it so much movement.
ReplyDeleteohh you have a complete new look on your blog - seems you are really productive there, despite talking walks and eating great food ...
ReplyDeleteI really like the quilt in the middle - especially with the "neutral" border, gives the whole thing a kind of calm frame.
The last quilt with the batics is maybe a bit too artsy for me - but the beach hut and the palm tree are a great idea for the batics ...
very fun quilts! love the house, looks like paradise!
ReplyDeleteplaid quilt is just sooo fun. how big is that quilt? love the broken dishes, have always wanted to do a piano key border,
your really making progress and having so much fun I bet!
Kathie
